I'm a college senior, applying to grad school. I'm basically a nice person, very well organized and educated. I like everything just so. What I don't like, is judgment. And for that reason, my journal is FRIENDS ONLY. If you are an MOD to a community I am applying to, I will add you so as you can read my entries if so specifies in the community rules.
Nobody chooses an eating disorder. It's a horrible way to live... actually it's not really living. It's painful to the millions of men and women who suffer from the disease, and to those who love them.
SOME THINGS I WOULD LIKE MADE CLEAR:
1. I'm am not promoting anorexia. You will not find bragging pictures of my skeletal prosterior, or stupid 'my-spacey' pictures of idiots sucking in their bellies trying to pass it off as protruding ribs (on a tangent: why do those of you who do that, do that? You aren't fooling anyone and as an anorexic, I find it mildly offensive)but I digress.
2. I am not in recovery (anymore). So, my journal will contain triggering material, my weight, calories, numbers, etc... I don't mind if you are in recovery (in fact I'll support you in every way possible) but I'm not going to put every little thing under an LJ cut in my journal for you. Read at your own risk.
3. Please don't add me looking to 'catch' my eating disorder as if it were a cold. That's insulting. And please don't leave me comments refering to anorexia as 'ana' or in a feminine pro-noun. It's a disease, not a pet or a role-model. Also very insulting.
4. And finally, leave judgement up to God. Don't try to save me. You are not my nutritionist. You are not my psychiatrist. You are not my doctor. You are a voice. And if you get nasty or invasive you will be silenced.
